The competition is organised in Moscow on 6 and 7 October at the MINEX Russia Forum and within the framework of the Mining and Metals HR Fair
The aim of the competition is to popularize successful projects aimed at developing human resources to build a safer, smarter and more efficient mining and metallurgical industry in Russia. We invite companies and universities to take part in the competition and present projects implemented in Russia and CIS.
Participation in the competition is free but does not include admission to fee-paying events of the MINEX Russia Forum.
One of the lessons learnt by companies from the coronavirus crisis is that people are one of the most important assets. Successes and failures often depend on leaders and teams. Highly skilled, creative, and motivated individuals make geological discoveries and drive modernisation, increasing efficiency and shareholder value. Whereas miscalculations and human errors can result in serious economic losses, accidents, and environmental disasters.
Development of material assets should go hand in hand with the development of human resources. This requires closer collaboration between universities, HR departments, academic and research organisations, government agencies and regulators.
These and other important issues are being successfully addressed by the mining and metals industry in Russia and CIS.
To popularize advanced experience and technologies in the field of personnel management and training specialists for enterprises of the mining and metallurgical complex, MineHR competition is being organized within the framework of the MINEX Russia forum.
Applications must be submitted by 1 August. Projects submitted for the competition will be evaluated by an independent jury. Accepted projects will be announced on the forum website.
Nominees will also be invited to present their projects in person or remotely at the MINEX Russia Forum in Moscow on 6 – 7 October 2021.
The winners will be determined by the “audience sympathy votes” and the decision of the jury. The winners will be awarded diplomas and gifts from the competition partners at the Forum’s closing ceremony.
A press release announcing the winning projects will be published on the Forum website and disseminated to accredited media.
