5 October - Tuesday

On the first day of the forum, a program of masterclasses is organised in Moscow. Speakers from AGR Software, Seequent, SRK Consulting, AMC Consultants and Continental will present to the delegates from Russian and CIS mining companies. Ice-breaker networking drinks will be held at the end of the program.
Onsite exhibition will be built on the same day.

6 October - Wednesday

The second day of the forum will continue with plenary and technical sessions, strategic panels, and discussions between senior managers of mining companies and leading experts from Russia and overseas.

The “Mining Goes Digital” conference organised in parallel with the Forum’s sessions. The conference topics, amongst many other issues, are dedicated to increasing production efficiency using automation solutions and “Industry 4.0” technologies.

For the first time, the Forum will host a program of events dedicated to HR management and Education in mining and metals industries. HR Teleconference will bring together speakers and participants from Russia’s top mining universities and companies.  Among many other topics, speakers from the industry and academia will discuss challenges and success stories of distance learning and human resources management during the coronavirus epidemic. Companies who are taking part in HR Fair will be able to hold presentations and one-on-one screening meetings with job-seeking candidates and University graduates.

The following competitions will be held at the Forum platform on 6 and 7 October: Russian Mining Awards, MineProject, MineGeo, MineTech, MineESG, MineMovie and MineHR. Companies and teams that have reached the finals will present their projects to the jury and answer questions from the audience. The MineProject Competition is held with the aim of presenting large-scale mining projects. The MineGeo Competition presents a benchmarking platform for projects developed by major and junior mining companies. The MineTech Competition provides a platform for the presentation of breakthrough projects and technologies for the industrial transformation of mining and metallurgical enterprises. The MineESG Competition is held with the aim of popularising and scaling up the unique experience of mining and metallurgical companies in reducing environmental pollution, reducing carbon footprint, protecting the biosphere, preventing environmental risks, and supporting socio-economic development. The MineHR Competition enables the presentation of best practices and technologies in the field of human resources management and training for mining and metallurgical enterprises.

Mining and Metals trade show is organised on 6 and 7 October alongside the Forum. Divided into specialisation areas it will help to build stronger connections between vendors and end-users. In the Producers area, companies will present mining development and modernisation projects. In the Service and Technology area, Russian and international companies will present services, technologies, and equipment for exploration, mining and metallurgical industries. In the HR Fair Zone, participants will be able to attend HR-related presentations and schedule individual interviews with representatives of the HR departments of companies.

The Seequent Software Users Conference will also take place on this day. The conference will feature software updates and presentations of application cases in mining and exploration.

The second day of the forum will end with an Ice-Breaking drink which will bring together speakers, delegates, and exhibitors.

7 October - Thursday

The third day of the Forum will continue in the format of technical sessions and discussions. The “Mining Goes Digital” Conference, Trade Show, HR Fair and HR Conference will continue in parallel with the Forum.

The Forum will conclude with the Gala Drinks and the Awards Ceremony for the winners of the 15th Russian Mining Excellence Awards.
