For the first time MINEX Russia hosts the Mining and Metals HR Fair which brings together HR directors, Heads of personnel support, training and development, Talent acquisition managers, In-House Recruiters, Recruitment agencies, Universities, Science and Technology Development Centres, and Companies specialising in mining personnel management and training.
HR receptions and HR desks of Russian and International companies will offer opportunities for organising HR-related presentations, conducting screening sessions and interviews with job-seeking candidates and University Graduates.
MineHR Competition is organised with the aim of popularising the best practices and technologies in the field of personnel management and training specialists for exploration, mining, processing, and metallurgical industries.
The competition is held in three categories.
We invite companies and universities to take part in the competition and present projects implemented in Russia and other CIS countries.
Competition rules
Applications for the MineHR Competition are accepted until 15 August. The projects submitted for the competition will be considered by a competent independent jury. Projects accepted for participation in the competition will be announced on the forum website. The finalists will be invited to present their projects in person or remotely at the HR Fair, which will be held during the MINEX Russia Forum on 6-7 October 2021. The winners will be awarded diplomas and gifts from the competition partners. The results of the competition will be published on the forum website and distributed to the forum media partners.
Mining and Metals HR conference will be held at the Fair. During the Conference Universities and companies will be able to present successful projects, hold master classes and discuss common challenges. The program will be divided into two main parts.
The HR part of the conference will present opportunities for exchange of experiences in resolving issues related to personnel management in the context of the coronavirus crisis and economic risks. The conference will showcase examples of human resources management to improve efficiency, inclusivity, and gender equality. The companies will also present cases of HR management digitalisation as part of overall technological transformation and transition to “Industry 4.0” platforms.
The Educational part of the conference will be dedicated to discussing the industry demand for qualified specialists to manage technological transformation and building sustainable business. A separate discussion will focus on cooperation between universities and industry in the development of innovative technologies and their commercialisation.
In addition to on-site conference sessions, HR Teleconference will bring together physical and remote participants and speakers from leading Universities and Companies from Russia and overseas. During the teleconference, besides problems of higher education, speakers will discuss recent cases and experiences in mining education, personnel training and retention, R&D and other areas.
