Andrey Minkin

Dr. Andrey Minkin (PMP®) is working as a Project Manager in the Central R&D Department of Continental Conveying Solutions (CS) in Germany and responsible for Strategic Projects in the globally active Bulk Material Handling Research Team. From 2018 until 2021 he headed the Continental CS Project & Engineering Office in Moscow and coordinated as a country manager all Conveying Solutions activities in Russia and CIS. Dr. Minkin received his degree in Materials Handling at the State Technical University "N.E. Bauman", Moscow, Russia and his PhD at the Otto-von-Guericke University of Magdeburg, Germany in the field of bulk solids handling & conveyor technology. He joined Continental Conveying Solutions (Germany) as Application Engineer & Project Manager in 2006. As a company’s Key Application Engineer Dr. Minkin was responsible for multiple sophisticated engineering projects worldwide over many years. He is author of over 20 technical papers in the field of bulk solids handling and several embedded patents in conveyor technology, Research Prize Laureate of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Magdeburg (Germany) and an active member of the Project Management Institute (USA)
