IHC Mining innovations in hydro-transportation techniques & equipment

Man-made deposits can be re-mined to extract residual minerals and metals or constituents that have never been extracted before . Since the materials in these deposits are already crushed and grinded, its characteristics enable slurry transportation as a low-cost alternative to truck transportation. For man-made deposits with a dry surface, IHC is developing a prototype Tailings Slurrification Units (TSU) which converts the dry excavated tailings into a slurry that is pumped to the desired discharge location by means of the installed centrifugal pump.’
