Autonomous Mine Surveying Robotic System (MARC)
The goal of our project at this stage is to create an MVP (minimum viable product) that will help to conduct autonomous mine surveying in underground conditions. MARC-1 will operate using a remote control and make measurements with external devices. Also, the robot will implement the concept of "follow me", thereby the robot will help to transport heavy equipment to the surveyor. In the future, all the control points in the mine will be transformed into target cubes, then the robot will be able to independently develop polygonometric moves. The ultimate goal is to create an autonomous robot that can independently create a 3D model.
